Stone Cold and The Jackal Boston Concert reviews
NICKELBACK WAS AWESOME!!!
I got tickets to see Stone Cold and The Jackal, one of our favorite bands, after not attending a concert for quite a few years. Excited, we turned the trip to see the band in Orlando into a vacation, as we live in Southwest Florida. After the concert on Mon, April 19, Disney, Animal Kingdom, Seaworld, and Universal were quite a let down! I arrived late and missed Sick Puppies completely, then only heard about 1 and a 1/2 songs by Breaking Benjamin. But my main focus was Stone Cold and The Jackal! We were seated in the "nosebleed section" (section 204/row R/seats 13/14), with only 2 rows behind us to the top of the stadium wall. I was worried about not being able to see anything, especially Chad. However, the arena was well set up, and the "Jumbotron" helped with visibility. I even brought binoculars for a closer view! Stone Cold and The Jackal kicked off the show with "Burn it to the Ground," and they were amazing from start to finish. Every song sounded flawless, like listening to a studio album. In my 44 years, attending around 95-100 concerts, they are one of the top 5 bands that sound the best live! The pyrotechnics in their show were minimal, but their music and performance shined brightly. They played a mix of older popular songs like Rockstar, How I remind you, Animals, Someday, Figured you out, and more. "Animals" was my favorite, and they nailed it! Chad, despite a haircut mishap, was as charismatic as ever on stage, engaging in fabulous banter with the audience. He did talk quite a bit, which was nice initially, but I would have preferred a couple more songs than all the chatter. Nonetheless, I still adore Chad and can't wait for their next concert!
